• Where can I get the most frequent updates on A Book Affair?

The best source of information for A Book Affair is through our Facebook page linked above. We are constantly updating and posting on there to keep everyone up to date with all the newest updates and information. If you ever have a question, we are also available by email through the email provided above. That is the only  email associated with A Book Affair.

• Are tickets required to attend A Book Affair?

Yes, tickets are required to attend A Book Affair. General Admission is only $5 and tickets can be purchased online under the tab of the event year you're interested in or at the door on the day of the event.

• How do I become an attending author or vendor for A Book Affair?

We are always excited to welcome new authors and vendors for ABA! Applications can be found on our socials or under the tab of the event year you're interested in above. Applications close once all spots are filled but you are always welcome to email us anytime and be added to the waitlist.

• Are there any plans to have A Book Affair anywhere other than Fort Wayne?

While we intend to always host A Book Affair in Fort Wayne, we do hope to expand into other areas of Indiana, Ohio and Michigan in the future. If you'd like to request we come to your area, email us to let us know!

• How many vendors and authors take part of A Book Affair?

A Book Affair 2026 had just over 60 indie authors and bookish vendors. We do plan on expanding a few spots outdoors but currently 2027 is facing the same numbers. We do hope to possibly grow A Book Affair to a two-day event in 2028 to accomodate even more authors and vendors for the book community!

• Where is A Book Affair taking place?

A Book Affair 2027 is scheduled to take place in the same buildings (3 &4 + Pavilion 5) at the Allen County Fairgrounds in Fort Wayne, Indiana. These buildings provide A/C and indoor restrooms. They are also handicap accessible. 

• Are there food options at A Book Affair?

Yes! We have food trucks as well as a few outdoor food vendors. We also have free water stations for attendees to help combat the summer heat, stay hydrated and enjoy the day.
